Overview

Procurement of a sewer winching contractor panel (36 months) for the eThekwini Sanitation Operations Department to supply winching machines as required. Target bidders: contractors with CIDB CE or higher, proven experience in sewer winching equipment, and the capacity to join a rotational/allocated panel; additional qualifications include supplier portal registrations and relevant certifications.

Requirements

• CIDB: Grade 1or Higher, Class CE (or higher).
• Experience: five (5) completed contracts or order numbers/fault numbers ( Amendments 1–3; see Addendum 1, Annex).
• Compliance: valid CIDB, B-BBEE certificates, Tax Compliance PINs; municipal rates cleared; CSD and eThekwini Supplier Portal registrations required.
• Financial: Audited financial statements if tender value > R10 million (MBD 5 reference).
• Submissions: hard copy submission by 02 Oct 2026 11:00 and electronic submission via JDE ESP; hard copy governs.
• Vehicles/Equipment: compliance with Annexure B vehicle/equipment schedule (Addendum 1).
• Tender validity: 12 months.
• Procurement rules: 80/20 price preference in evaluation; conflicts of interest disclosures.
