DELIVERY OF HEAT ENERGY IN THE FORM OF SATURATED PROCESS STEAM AND BOILER HOUSE MAINTENANCE WORK AT TYGERBERG HOSPITAL BOILER HOUSE, LENTEGEUR HOSPITAL BOILER HOUSE AND THE WESTERN CAPE COLLEGE OF NURSING, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS, WESTERN CAPE GOVERNMENT FOR A THREE (3) YEAR PERIOD.

Overview

Delivery of heat energy in the form of saturated process steam and boiler house maintenance services for Tygerberg Hospital Boiler House, Lentegeur Hospital Boiler House and the Western Cape College of Nursing, Department of Health and Wellness, Western Cape Government for a three-year period. Bidders with boiler operation/maintenance capability, hospital-plant experience, safety compliance, and capacity to supply uninterrupted steam should consider bidding.

Requirements

• Ability to operate and maintain boilers to supply uninterrupted steam to the listed facilities (Tygerberg, Lentegeur, WC College of Nursing).
• Availability of spare parts and accessories for the full service period; compliance with minimum standards (SABS) and manufacturer requirements.
• Complete and submit all compulsory forms: WCBD1, WCBD3.1, WCBD3.3/2, WCBD4, WCBD6.1 (and WCBD4 etc. as applicable).
• Proof of CSD registration and up-to-date Tax Compliance Status; SARS e-filing option accepted. Separate TCS for each JV/sub-contractor.
• B-BBEE status and verification as required; SANAS-accredited verification or equivalent affidavits.
• Valid Good Standing letter from the Department of Labour; company registration from CIPC; CVs of staff; evidence of boiler-operating capability.
• Office/workshop fully equipped and located within 50 km of Tygerberg Hospital; ability to demonstrate ongoing spare parts supply.
• Compliance with General Conditions of Contract and Special Conditions; no unauthorized subcontracts.
• OH&S compliance (Hazardous Substances Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act).
