Overview

Procurement of 99,995% pure zinc ingots for delivery over a one-year period. Denel PMP invites bids from zinc ingot traders/suppliers with proven capability to deliver to the attached specification (see Specification 133 0010 Rev Issue 3.PDF) to 1 Ruth First Street, Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West. The spec requires capacity to supply roughly 240,000 kg annually and to provide a COA for each lot.

Requirements

• Proof of trading in zinc ingots and evidence of ability to supply to specification (e.g., COA, invoices with product, grade, quantity, delivery terms).
• Current banking details on letterhead from a registered bank.
• Certified copies of all shareholder certificates (with shareholding details).
• Copy of shareholder agreement if more than one shareholder.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS status or CSD registration; compliance for the contract term.
• B-BBEE documentation: Valid certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Sample: A sample may be requested from the successful bidder (for testing against spec).
• References: Trade references not older than two years (for functional evaluation).

• Deadline: 01 July 2026 at 12:00 SA time (closing date/time).
• Submissions: on the official tender forms, in two envelopes (Qualifying/Functional Evaluation and Price/Preference), delivered to the Denel PMP Tender Box at 1 Ruth First Street, Lotus Gardens; or via tenders@pmp.co.za as specified.
• Documents to submit: Part A (Invitation), Part C (Specifications/Undertakings), Annexure A (Price Proposal), Annexure D (Declaration of Interest), Annexure E (SBD6.1/B-BBEE), Annexure K (Mandatory Criteria), Annexure L (General Conditions), Annexure N (References). SBD7 contract form to be signed if successful.
• Pre-qualifications: Tax clearance/TCS status (or SARS PIN), CSD number if no TCS, BBBEE documentation.
• Briefing: None (no compulsory briefing).
