Overview

Construction of new sanitation infrastructure including associated external works at Magwegwana Secondary School. Bidders should be capable civil/construction contractors with CIDB grading 4GB or higher and relevant experience in school sanitation works and external works in KwaZulu-Natal; proposals will be evaluated on price (80) plus ownership by Black people (10) and district/locality (10).

Requirements

• Evaluation: 80/20 split (price 80; Black ownership 10; local district location 10: King Cetshwayo/ uMkhanyakude/ Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal).

• Contract duration of 10 calendar months; GCC for Works of Civil Engineering Construction (2010, Second Edition) and CPAP-related provisions apply.

• Compliance with EPWP and local labour requirements, Community Liaison Officer (CLO) duties, HIV/AIDS awareness, and Occupational Health and Safety provisions.
