Overview

Procurement of a service provider to supply safe code and combination change services for three years at the DEEC. Suitable bidders are security/lock-service providers with experience in safes, access control, risk and asset protection, and compliance with security policies. The contract covers quarterly onsite safe-code changes for two Category 5 safes and urgent onsite support (3 hours plus).

Requirements

• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a CSD number; provide CSD full registration report.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or Tax Clearance and related proof; provide separate TCS/PIN if part of a consortium.
• Attach certified copy of ID, CSD reports, BBBEE certificate or BBBEE sworn affidavit, and CIPC documents.
• Submit bid documents on official letterhead; include an Excel pricing schedule; adhere to 90-day price validity and VAT-inclusive pricing; indicate firm delivery period.
• Complete and submit mandatory SBD forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and comply with Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 (80/20 scoring, with specific goals).
• Accept SADPMR’s rights to cancel/negotiate and to conduct due diligence; comply with confidentiality and anti-corruption provisions.
