Overview

The service provider must supply, fabricate, remove and install replacement hatch/window frames and shutters on CUDA Café and H₂O containers. Bidders should be service providers registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the eThekwini Supplier Portal, with CIDB grading 1SL or 1GB or higher, and must meet tax, compliance and insurance prerequisites (see ac-274.pdf).

Requirements

• Registered on CSD in good standing and on the eThekwini Supplier Portal; CIDB grading 1SL/1GB or higher; active public liability insurance (min R500,000).
• Tax compliance: valid SARS PIN/TCS, or provide CSD number; Coida good standing; tax clearance.
• Completed MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9), company letterhead, at least 2 signed references; BBBEE where applicable.
• Warranty: 12-month workmanship/parts warranty.
• No welding to container structures; install per specified fasteners and standards.
• Declarations and anti-corruption prerequisites (MBD4, MBD8, MBD9) and related disclosures.
• Site readiness: forward references and details for prior similar work.

• Submission deadline: 02 October 2026 at 11:00 (closing time).
