DESIGN AND BUILD FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARY ABLUTION FACILITIES AND REPAIR OF EXISTING ABLUTION FOR A PERIOD OF 17 MONTHS AT GEORGE AIRPORT

Overview

Design and Build for the installation of temporary ablution facilities and repair of existing ablution for 17 months at George Airport. The project is targeted at CIDB Grade 3 GB (or higher) contractors with experience in NEC3 ECC contracts and airport works, for works at George Airport (Eden District Municipality).

Requirements

• CIDB: contractor grading 3 GB or higher; CIDB registration and SA tax/compliance requirements.
• Contract basis: NEC3 ECC, Option B, with a priced BOQ (as per contract data).
• Compliance: health, safety, environmental, and airport access controls; obtain temporary airport permits for site access.
• Documentation: full bid on official forms, with completed returnable schedules, Schedule of Deviations (if any), tax/compliance PINs (SARS), and CSD registration if no TCS.

• Briefing/site visit: compulsory briefing 30 October 2026 at 09:00 at George Airport; site inspection directly after (attach document references: T1.1).
• Submission deadline: 13 November 2026 at 10:00 (per tender metadata; CIDB bid document lists 12:00; submit before the closing time).
• Submission method: electronic submissions to AcsaRfq@airports.co.za; break into multiple attachments (as required by the notice).
• Documents to submit: one offer on official forms, pricing data, returnable documents, Schedule of Deviations (if any), proof of authority, and tax/CSD/TCS as applicable (see CIDB Bid document for details).
