Overview

Design and layout services for the Castle Control Board’s Annual Report (approx. 120 pages). Designers/graphics studios with branding, page-layout, print-ready PDF, and media packaging capabilities should consider bidding.

Requirements

• Tax compliance in order; SARS confirmations throughout the contract; CBD verification via CSD (and for JV/consortia).
• Registered on Central Supplier Database; each party in a consortium/sub-contracting arrangement to be registered.
• Submit pre-qualification documents: SBD 1, Tax Clearance, Pricing Schedule, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2, SBD 8, SBD 9, CSD report, company registration, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and three design/layout reference letters (not older than 36 months).
• Pricing: complete Pricing Schedule and provide a separate full cost list; price for all listed products.
• Evaluation uses 80/20 Preferential Points; specific goals include HDIs, women, youth, persons with disabilities, and SMME/RDP goals.
• Contract is a once-off design/layout engagement; SLA to be concluded.
• Deliverables include 3 cover options, per-page design, image insertion, amendments, print-ready PDFs, and branded high-res CDs/DVDs. (Documents excerpt: CCB2026/08/01)

How to Apply

• Deadline: 18 August 2026 at 10:00 (Validity: 90 days).
• Submission: hardcopy in sealed envelope, two copies per file (Technical and Price/Preferences), hand/courier delivery to Castle of Good Hope or post to Castle Control Board, with reference CCB 2026/08/01; reception times 09:30–16:00.
• Documents to submit: all SBDs listed above, Pricing Schedule, detailed quotation, pre-qualification documents, three reference letters, CSD report, tax clearance.
