DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALL, COMMISSION AND MAINTAIN A SOLAR PV PLANT AT KING SHAKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. This construction project by Airports Company South Africa seeks a contractor to design, supply, install, commission and maintain a 2000 kWp PV plant at King Shaka International Airport (ACSA). Eligible bidders must have CIDB contractor grading of 8EP or higher (or a combined 8EP+ for JV/Consortium) and comply with SARS tax/VAT requirements; mandatory briefing and site visit are required. Requirements

• CIDB grading: 8EP or higher (or combined 8EP+ for JV/Consortium) per tender data.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or provide a CSD number; separate TCS for each JV participant if applicable.
• Mandatory steps: Compulsory briefing (30 July 2026 at 10:00) and compulsory site inspection at King Shaka Airport; attendance recorded.
• Contract framework and deliverables: NEC3 ECC3-based contract data; clear pricing data and activity schedules; performance bond and insurance as specified in contract data.

How to Apply

• Attend compulsory briefing on 30 July 2026 (King Shaka International Airport, EBUKHOSINI Conference) and the subsequent compulsory site inspection (attendance required; registration on site).
• Prepare and submit: one tender offer (original) plus one copy, plus electronic copy on USB; complete Form of Offer and Acceptance (ECC3) and Schedule of Deviations; provide pricing data (C2) and required returnables (T2).
• Submissions must be delivered to the Tender Box at KING SHAKA International Airport or submitted electronically to Thami.Mncube@airports.co.za; include all returnable documents, and ensure currency, translations, and signatories are in order (KSIA8192/2026/RFP).
