Overview

The Gauteng Provincial Legislature invites bids for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a commercial inclined wheelchair platform stair lift to improve accessibility to the MPL Lounge within the Johannesburg City Hall. Suitable bidders include specialists in elevator/platform lifts, accessibility retrofits, building services, electrical installation and related project management. CFIs: CIDB 1SI or 1ME or higher; COIDA, CSD, SARS PIN, and other mandatory registrations apply. Requirements

• CIDB Registration: 1SI or 1ME or higher; valid CIPC certificate; SARS PIN (valid at closing); COIDA Good Standing.
• Administrative: signed SBD 3.3 Pricing Schedule; signed Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD 4) and Preference Point Form (SBD 6.1); detailed company docs, IDs for shareholders, company profile; detailed CSD report with SARS PIN; one electronic RFQ copy.
• Technical/compliance: authorization from equipment manufacturer/distributor to supply/install/commission; Electrical Certificate of Compliance on completion; as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning certificates; two reference letters for similar PA/Voice Evac/Fire systems.
• Scope readiness: site survey, shop drawings, supply and install the lift and rail system, electrical works and isolator, builder’s work, testing and commissioning, operator training, manuals, warranty and 12-month maintenance.
