Overview

This tender procures the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) system (Design and Build) at The Shamberere National Polytechnic. Requirements

• Compliance with ITT provisions (corruption/debarment declarations; no conflicts of interest).
• Foreign bidders: minimum 40% local input; provide documentary evidence.
• JV rules: max 3 members; lead member must be a prequalified Western Zone EPC firm; joint venture agreement or letter of intent required.
• Eligibility: PPRA debarment check; National Construction Authority (NCA) registration before award; not participating in more than one Tender unless permitted.
• Qualifications: valid Tax Compliance Certificate for Kenyan firms; Key Experts from eligible countries; no disqualifying corruption or fraudulent practices.
• Site visit: mandatory; Site Visit Certificate SV-1 (documented in attached tender material).
• Documentation: complete tender forms, JV documents if applicable, and indicate ownership/control information as required.
