Overview

The Kenya Airports Authority invites bids to lease and manage a full restaurant at Kisumu International Airport concourse (Development and Management of a Full Restaurant at Concourse Area at Kisumu International Airport). This open national tender targets hospitality concessionaires with restaurant management experience; bids must comply with Kenyan procurement rules and be submitted online.

Requirements

• Tender Security: KSh 500,000, valid for 216 days from tender opening date (see attached document).
• Eligibility and qualifications: comply with ITT 3–4, provide tax clearance, avoid debarment, no conflicts of interest; allow Joint Ventures with joint liability; provide Owner’s Authorization if the tenderer does not own the leased items.
• Documentation: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Joint Venture Agreement (or letter of intent), Tender Security, eligibility/conformity documents, and conformity evidence to Section VII Schedule of Requirements.
• Special visits and compliance: attend the Pre-Bid/Site Visit on 22 July 2026 at Kisumu International Airport; ensure all prices are in Kenyan Shillings and valid for the stated period.
• No margin of preference; evaluation follows Section III with “Most Advantageous Tender.”
• Other: documents must be in English; bid security valid beyond the tender validity; online submissions only.

• Submissions: online via the KAA e-procurement portal; deadline 30 July 2026 at 11:00 am. If not in the system, contact tenders@kaa.go.ke at least 3 days before closing for login credentials.
• Documents to complete/submit: Form of Tender and Price Schedules (Section IV), Tender Security, Joint Venture Agreement if applicable, Owner’s Authorization if necessary, tax clearance, eligibility and conformity evidence (Section VI–VII).
