Overview

Open national tender to lease and operate a Quick Grab and Go facility at Departure Gate 2, Kisumu International Airport, including development and ongoing management. Suitable bidders include entities with experience in leasing real estate facilities and operating airport retail outlets, with the ability to provide owner authorizations for leased items, comply with Kenyan public procurement rules, and offer related services (installation, maintenance, training).

Requirements

• Compliance with public procurement and anti-corruption rules; include a Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; no debarment; anti-collusion safeguards.
• Eligibility and integrity: JV allowed; no conflicts of interest; no involvement by public officers; not debarred; tax clearance certificate if required.
• Tender security and validity: provide a Tender Security of KSh 500,000 valid for 216 days; tender remains valid for the period specified in the TDS (commonly around 186 days).
• Lease item eligibility and conformity: origin from eligible countries; Lease Items include real estate and related services; evidence of conformity to technical specs; provide spare parts, tools, etc., as applicable.
