Overview

Supply and delivery of diesel generator spares, bulk diesel fuel supply system spares, and used oil system spares for Medupi Power Station. Bidders should have proven ability to source and deliver power-plant spares and comply with Eskom’s NEC3 SC3 framework, Eskom Tender Rules, and OHS/quality requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supplying diesel generator spares, bulk diesel fuel system spares and used oil system spares to large power plants or equivalent.
• Ability to operate under Eskom’s NEC3 SC3 contract and The Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender with adherence to Life-Saving Rules and Occupational Health and Safety incident management requirements.
• Evidence of a Quality Management System (e.g., ISO 9001) and ability to provide a Contract Quality Plan, plus completion of relevant returnables (SBDs, Pricing Schedule) per Annexures.
• CIDB registration, CPA local-content compliance (if applicable), tax clearance, and other pre-qualifications.
• Completion and submission of mandatory tender returnables (SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4) and Pricing Schedule/BOQ (PDF and Excel formats) per Annexures.

• Submission method: electronic submission via the Eskom E-tendering site by the closing time; no email or physical tender submissions unless stated.
• Documents to complete and submit: Acknowledgement Form; SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4; Local Content Declarations (Annexure C–G); Pricing Schedule/BOQ (PDF + Excel); Integrity Pact/Non-disclosure forms as applicable; Quality/Contract documents (Annexures A–J).
• Required registrations: CIDB (contractor registration), Eskom e-tendering registration, tax clearance; CIDB/CSD as applicable per Tender Data.
