DISPOSAL - ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ENABLING AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSAL OF SCRAP CONVEYOR BELTS ON AN AS AND WHEN AVAILABLE FOR A CONTRACT PERIOD OF 3 YEARS (01 DECEMBER 2026 TO 30 NOVEMBER 2029) FROM ARNOT AND HENDRINA POWER STATION

Overview

Procurement of an Enabling Agreement for the disposal of scrap conveyor belts from Arnot and Hendrina Power Stations for a contract period of 3 years (01 Dec 2026–30 Nov 2029). Bidders should be capable in waste collection/transport and recycling of rubber/plastic scrap, with compliance in safety, environmental and quality standards, and hold relevant licenses and registrations (e.g., CSD, COIDA, tax clearance, Second-Hand Goods Act).

Requirements

• Proof of valid CSD registration (CSD number or report)
• COIDA certificate of good standing or proof of application
• Tax Clearance Certificates (local and foreign footprint as applicable)
• Company Registration Documents (CIPC/CIPRO)
• Second-Hand Goods certificate (SAPS license)
• Pricing Schedule/BOQ (PDF and Excel formats) (see Annexure 1.1.17)
• B-BBEE Affidavit or Verification Certificate
• Proof that the tenderer is not restricted by National Treasury and that 100% sub-contracting is not allowed
• Completion of mandatory tender returnables (SBD 1, SBD 4, Annexures A–J, K–O as applicable) and JV documentation if tendering as a joint venture
• Evidence of OSHA/Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements as per Annexures M–O
• Compliance with Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender (as applicable to a disposal contract)
