Overview

Disposal of Municipal Properties is being procured by Blue Crane Route Municipality under tender T21/2026. Bids from potential service providers are invited to dispose of municipal properties. The evaluation uses an 80/20 split (80 points for price, 20 points for Specific Goals), with preference for HDI status and locality within the Eastern Cape. Requirements

• Open to parties that can submit the required documents and meet local supplier requirements.
• Certificate of Good Standing from the local municipality.
• Complete all tender forms and data sheets; submit supplementary information.
• For residential erven: individuals must submit certified identity documents (certification not older than 3 months).
• For industrial erven: companies must submit CIPC registration documents; church erven require church constitution.
• Bidders may bid for more than one erf; residential erven limited to one award per bidder; multiple plots may be awarded for industrial erven.
• Purchase offer must include VAT for bidders tendering as companies.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 16 October 2026 by 12:00; sealed envelope clearly marked “TENDER NUMBER:21/2026; Description: Disposal of Municipal Properties” to be placed in the Bid Box at 67 Nojoli Street, Somerset East. Late submissions will not be accepted; bids opened in public.
• Submission method: physical hand delivery to the Bid Box.
• Documents to submit: completed tender forms, data sheets, Section 4.4 Authority of Signatory; evidence of VAT/CIPC details; identity documents; etc. (documents downloadable from www.bcrm.gov.za).
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: local supplier requirements; Certificate of Good Standing; if tendering as a company, CIPC registration.
