Overview

Procurement of the inspection, servicing, testing and supply of spares for the Drakensberg Fire Protection System under a NEC3 Term Service Contract. Eskom invites open bids from bidders with fire protection/maintenance capability and NEC3 TSC3 experience to service the Drakensberg Pumped Storage Scheme system. Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance: meet tender criteria, not sanctioned, no conflicts of interest; joint ventures liable; contract for whole scope; proof of CSD and local-content rules may apply. (see ITT Rev. 28)
• Mandatory documents: SBD forms (at least SBD 1, 4, 6.1/6.2), Annexures A–J, Tax Evaluation questionnaire, CIDB/CSDG requirements, and Pricing Schedule/BOQ. (see ITT Rev. 28)
• Safety and OHS: provide OHS plans and safety documentation (OHS&Q Management Plan, PPE standards, risk procedures, etc.). (see ITT Annexures and Attachments)
• Technical capability: proven NEC3 Term Service Contract experience; capability to inspect/maintain and supply spares per the Scope of Work. (see NEC TSC3 draft)
• Local content and governance: CPA local content declarations as applicable; PPPFA/government procurement rules. (see Annexures E–I)
• Tender format and pricing: prices inclusive of VAT; no arithmetical errors; pricing in PDF with Excel copy; no zip files; electronic submission only. (see ITT)

• Site clarification: compulsory meeting 15 July 2026, 10:00, Drakensberg Pump Storage Scheme; confirm attendance by 14 July 12:00 with attendee details. (see ITT Rev. 28)
• Submission method: electronic via Eskom E-tendering; closing 27 July 2026 at 10:00; ensure status is complete; no late or revised submissions accepted. (see ITT)
• Documents to submit: complete set of mandatory tender returnables (SBD forms, Annexures A–J, Tax Questionnaire, pricing schedule, etc.); pricing in PDF and Excel; no hard copies; upload under Technical, Commercial, Financial folders. (see ITT)
