Overview

Procurement of the Durbanville and Bella Rosa Fire Protection System under an NEC3 Term Service Contract for installation, servicing and maintenance at Durbanville and Bella Rosa facilities. Eskom invites capable contractors with fire-protection and NEC experience to bid.

• Scope is governed by the Durbanville ITT Rev. 28 and accompanying NEC contract data/attachments; site location is Cape Town metro.
• Key bid windows: Closing 02 September 2026 at 10:00; compulsory clarification/site meeting 14 August 2026; bid validity 12 weeks (from closing).

Requirements

• Proof of CSD registration and applicable statutory/contractual prerequisites (mandatory for all tenders).
• Eligibility and integrity: no sanctions, no conflicts of interest, no disqualifying conditions (e.g., Tender Defaulters list; Eskom restrictions).
• Functionality criteria: proven experience (two tubular air heater/tubes replacement projects) plus a detailed method statement and a Quality Control Plan/ITP aligned to the scope.
• Tender returnables: complete with SBD forms (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1 and related local-content forms as applicable) and pricing schedules (PDF/Excel). See Annexures and attachments in the Durbanville ITT.
• Health, safety and environmental compliance, and adherence to Eskom’s safety policies; performance security and liability provisions as per NEC3 terms.
• Pricing evaluation uses a structured process with specified weights; price, goals, and compliance are factored per the tender data.
