Overview

The Eskom tender seeks the supply and delivery of fuel oil flow meters, on a one-off basis at Matla Power Station, including commissioning, calibration and testing. Suitable bidders are manufacturers or suppliers of fuel/oil flow meters and related calibration/verification services, with capability to perform on-site commissioning and to meet Eskom’s QA/EMS requirements.

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance: meet Eskom's tender eligibility rules; not sanctioned or on defaulters lists; no conflicts of interest; JV/consortium liability as stated. (ITT)
• Documentation and submissions: submit electronically via Eskom E-tendering; PDFs up to 500 MB per doc; total up to 4 GB; provide pricing in PDF (plus Excel copy) and complete mandatory returnables (SBDs, Annexures A–J, Local Content, Integrity Pact). (ITT)
• Technical/QA/EMS: demonstrate capability to supply meters and perform commissioning/calibration/testing; comply with QA (ISO 9001) and site EMS (ISO 14001) requirements; provide OHS documentation (BRA, Plan) where applicable. (Form A, Indemnity/EMS docs)
• Local content and procurement: declare Local Content and CPA compliance; BBBEE evidence; target 100% local content where applicable; complete SBD 6.2 and related annexes. (ITT, SDL&I Template)
• Evaluation and contracting: functionality threshold of 70% for tender to be considered; price and specific goals scoring per PPPFA; contract under NEC Term Service Contract (TSC3); proof of CSD registration; security for performance as required. (ITT)
