Overview

Expression of Interest for suppliers and service providers specialising in corrosion prevention and metallurgical engineering consulting services to design, install, and oversee ICCP systems for the corrosion protection of pre- or post-tensioned and steel-reinforced concrete civil structures at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. Suitable bidders are professional engineering/consultancy firms with ICCP design, installation and QC capability, corrosion prevention expertise, and demonstrated experience in reinforced concrete structures, preferably with CIDB registration and Eskom eTendering readiness.

Requirements

• Proven ICCP system design, installation and quality-control experience on civil structures
• Demonstrated corrosion prevention/metallurgical engineering consulting capability for ICCP assessment, design, installation, and implementation
• CIDB level (and related registration) and relevant qualifications
• Ability to operate in marine/exposed environments and to provide evidence of previous ICCP projects on post-tensioned or reinforced concrete
• Willingness to engage via Eskom eTendering and supply information per the Part B response
