EAST LONDON FORT GLAMORGAN PRISON: BOILER OPERATIONS AND REPAIRS FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) MONTHS.Closed

Overview

Procurement of boiler operations and repairs at Fort Glamorgan Prison for a period of five months. Open to contractors with CIDB designation 3 ME/3 ME or higher and relevant boiler/plant operation expertise; bidders must meet CIDB, registration, and compliance requirements (CSD, COIDA good standing, VAT if applicable).

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 3 ME/3 ME or higher.
• Key staff (minimum): at least one Mechanical Fitter/Millwright; two Boiler Operators; two Boiler Operator Assistants; one Electrician with a wireman’s license.
• Administrative/compliance: registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); COIDA good standing valid at closing; VAT if price before VAT exceeds R1 million.
• Pricing/formation: fully price the Bill of Quantities; provide percentage mark-up on provisional material; Pricing Schedule to be used for evaluation.
• Tender documentation: complete and sign all forms (PA-11, PA-15.1/15.2/15.3, DPW-07, DPW-09, DPW-21, PA-16 for preferences, PA-40 for designated groups); provide any requested CVs and project details.
• Additional: be aware of objective criteria allowing multiple awards across related prison boiler contracts; follow published addenda; maintain declared designations and signatures.
