Economic Impact Study for the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link Project from September 2006 to September 2026

Overview

The Gautrain Management Agency (GMA) invites proposals from qualified service providers to conduct an Economic Impact Study for the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link Project from September 2006 to September 2026. Target bidders are organisations with at least 10 years’ experience in economic impact assessments, infrastructure/transport economics or PPPs, capable of developing macro- and micro-economic models, evaluating economic growth, employment, socio-economic development, land-use and property impacts, and delivering knowledge products and stakeholder engagement (RFP - Economic Impact Study.pdf).

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in economic impact assessment/infrastructure economics/transport economics or equivalent (RFP Part B). (RFP - Economic Impact Study.pdf)
• Demonstrated PPP/public sector infrastructure project experience; provide detailed CVs of proposed project team; replacements require GMA approval (RFP Part B). (RFP - Economic Impact Study.pdf)
