Ekuvukeni WWW Repairs and Refurbishment Project

Overview

Procurement of the Ekuvukeni WWW Repairs and Refurbishment Project for a four‑month construction contract by uMngeni‑uThukela Water. Contractors with relevant experience in water infrastructure refurbishment should bid, notably those with CIDB 6EP+ and capabilities to meet local participation goals and project‑level governance.

Requirements

• Active CIDB grading 6EP or higher
• 35% Contract Participation Goals (CPG): minimum 25% UTDM area participation and 10% local participation for targeted enterprises
• Project Manager must hold a BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical Engineering and be registered as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng with ECSA (active)
• Attendance at compulsory briefing/clarification session
• Compliance documentation: Tax Compliance Status, CSD report, COID good standing, company registration, SBD 6.1 preference documentation, proof of attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting, and other returnable documentation listed in T2 (e.g., experience, QA/EMS, Method Statement, Preliminary Programme)
