Electrical maintenance and repairs of municipal buildings and facilities under a 12-month contract. Open to reputable service providers with a CIDB grading of 3EB or higher; bidders must demonstrate electrical maintenance/installation experience and meet specific qualification criteria.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 3EB or higher
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration (proof required)
• MBD forms: MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9
• Municipal rates and services certificates for directors/owners and the company; show rates not in arrears for more than 90 days
• Lease documentation if leasing office space or director accommodation
• Affidavit if municipal rates are paid by relatives; marriage certificate if municipal account is under spouse
• Certificate of Authority to sign documents (on company letterhead)
• Minimum qualification/equipment thresholds:
  • 1 x Electrician with Trade Test and 3 years’ experience
  • 1 x Registered Installation Electrician with Wireman’s License and ability to issue COC’s (3 years)
  • 1 x Safety Officer with SAMTRAC and 3 years’ experience
• 90-day price validity
• Evaluation framework: 80/20 price vs specific goals; minimum 30 points for functionality, with further points for experience and personnel
