Overview

Provision of electrical services and maintenance for Transnet Port Terminals, Durban Pier 1, on a one-off basis. Requirements

• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN/TCS and/or Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; separate TCS for JV/sub-contractors; self-register on CSD if applicable.
• Qualifications: minimum two CVs of qualified Electricians/Technicians (National Diploma) with at least 5 years HT protection experience; ECSA registration (Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng) or equivalent; ORHVS or equivalent.
• Technical evidence: four traceable references for HT protection of substations/cranes within past 5 years; demonstration of scope coverage; sample reports (primary/secondary injection, relay tests) and calibrated test tools; SANAS-calibrated certificates for listed equipment.
• Tools and equipment: valid SANAS calibration certificates for Primary Injection, Secondary Injection, Circuit Breaker Analyser, Ductor Test, Megger Test.
• B-BBEE and sub-contracting: evidence of B-BBEE status; potential subcontracting arrangements with required disclosures.
• Compliance and governance: comply with applicable laws, Employment Equity Act; security clearance may be required; DPIP/FPPO disclosures as applicable.
