Overview

EMERGENCY REINSTATEMENT OF MIGORI RIVER BRIDGE AND FOOTBRIDGE ALONG KISII – MIGORI - ISEBANIA (A1) ROAD is being procured. Bids are invited from eligible construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in Category NCA 1 or 2 to carry out bridge and road works funded by GoK Development Vote; scope is described in the tender documents. Mandatory pre-tender site visits apply.

Requirements

• A Tenderer must submit with the bid:
  • Copy of Certificate of Incorporation or Certificate of Compliance for foreign bidders
  • Copy of Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (class per tender)
  • Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Copy of recent CR12 (dated within 6 months)
  • Tender Security (Unconditional Bank Guarantee)
  • Serialization of tender pages (page-by-page)
  • Similar previous experience, equipment, professional/technical personnel, current workload and litigation history
• Compliance and eligibility rules:
  • Maximum two tenders per bidder, and award limited to one tender under this notice
  • Compliance with PPADA 2015 Section 157 on preference and reservations
  • No history of non-performance; adhere to NCA registration; minimum JV rules if applicable
  • Foreign bidders: source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens
  • Local ownership and conflict-of-interest disclosures; anti-collusion
