ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOWICK PUMP STATION FIRE SYSTEM UPGRADE

Overview

Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the Howick Pump Station Fire System Upgrade. The tender is open to bidders capable of EPC delivery for fire protection upgrades at a pump station, with consortia allowed. Bidders must be tax compliant (SARS PIN or CSD) and may form consortia with separate tax status. Electronic bid submissions are mandatory via Transnet’s portal, with a compulsory Clarification Meeting and a closing date of 20 November 2026. Requirements

• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN for verification; or Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; if in a consortium, each party must submit its own TCS/CSD. If no TCS, provide CSD number.
• Consortia: allowed with separate TCS for each party.
• Submissions: electronic only; upload to Transnet system; allow multiple uploads with a 30 MB per upload limit.
• Documentation: complete standard bid documents (Form of Offer and Acceptance, Pricing Data, Activity Schedule) and any contract data as specified in the tender data.
• Validity: bid responses remain valid for 12 weeks from closing date.
