EQUIPMENT CALIBRATION – FLOW LABORATORY

Overview

Procurement of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 calibration services for the Johannesburg Water Flow Laboratory, including on-site and off-site calibrations, collection/delivery, and the issue of calibration certificates. The contract covers calibration of mass, volume, time, temperature, humidity and related parameters listed in the attached equipment list. Bidders must be ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited, capable of 10 working day turnaround, and provide hard-copy calibration certificates with the accreditation scope. Subcontracting is allowed only to labs accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The bidder must be registered on CSD, provide a valid tax clearance, BBBEE documentation, and complete the required MBD forms (as per the attached tender documentation). Requirements

• ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation with the scope covering the equipment and calibrations in the Flow Laboratory; submit accreditation certificate and scope.
• Onsite and Offsite calibration including all travel, with a 10 working day turnaround; calibration certificates in hard copy.
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of all taxes; quotations must be on company letterhead and include taxes.
• Administrative/compliance: valid Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD supplier registration, completed MBD forms (4, 8, 9, 6.1), lease or municipal account not older than 3 months, and company registration documents with directors’ IDs.
• Bidder must not be in the state’s service and must not be blacklisted; comply with PPPFA/SCM rules and file as per MBD 3.1 and related documents.
• Documentation must show that calibration work may be outsourced only to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited labs.
