Overview

The Kwale County Government invites bids for EQUIPPING OF LABORATORIES AT MANGWEI, TIRIBE, MAMBA, KINANGO NDOGO AND KIDIMU DISPENSARIES, including laboratory equipment and related services (installation, training and initial maintenance). This open tender seeks suppliers of laboratory equipment and related services capable of delivering, installing and commissioning the labs, with training and aftercare. Requirements

• Compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015; declarations of integrity and non-debarment; submission of Certificate of Independent Tender Determination (and related anti-corruption commitments).
• Eligibility and qualifications: capability to tender as a private entity, individual or JV; JV arrangements must be defined; no conflict of interest; tax compliance (tax clearance) as required.
• Goods eligibility and conformity: provide country of origin declarations; evidence that goods meet technical specifications; inventory of spare parts, tools and maintenance support.
• Documentation and security: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; joint venture agreements if applicable; authorization letters; pagination/serialization requirements.
• Local content and sourcing: traceability of origin; certain Kenyan-origin items may be preferred as per policy.
• Administrative and financial: capacity building levy (0.03% of contract value) deducted from payments; prices quoted in Kenyan Shillings; discounts must be unconditional.
