ERECTION AND COMPLETION WORKS OF 2NO.CLASSROOMS AT CHELEBEI PRIMARY SCHOOL

Overview

Procurement of erection and completion works for 2 classrooms at Chelebei Primary School, Bungoma County (Mt. Elgon) under an Open Tender. Eligible bidders must meet the qualifications in the tender documents (Section III PPRA) including anti-corruption, eligibility, and tax requirements; foreign bidders must comply with local participation rules (40% Kenyan inputs) and, before award, obtain National Construction Authority registration.

Requirements

• Compliance with PPRA guidelines, anti-corruption, eligibility, and tax requirements (including Certificate of Independent Tender Determination).
• Eligible tenderers: open to individuals, private firms, state-owned entities, or joint ventures; JV rules apply.
• No conflicts of interest, no debarment, and adherence to competition laws.
• Local content: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan nationals; JVs must observe nationality rules and subcontracting limits.
• Registration/pre-qualification: National Construction Authority registration required prior to contract signature; tax clearance evidence required.
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration, form of tender, qualification documents, and technical/conformity proposals must be submitted as part of the tender.
• All prices in Kenyan Shillings; compliance with specified evaluation and qualification criteria in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
