Overview

Proposed erection and completion works of 2 classrooms at Kostoi Primary School, Mt. Elgon Constituency, Bungoma County. This open tender invites bids from building contractors with relevant classroom-construction experience and required licenses/certifications. Requirements

• Foreign input/local-content rule: 40% of contract inputs from Kenyan sources if tendered by a foreign firm.

• Submission method: single sealed envelope/package with ORIGINAL documents (and COPIES) as directed; may allow electronic submission if stated in the TDS; envelopes labeled per ITT requirements.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities, Tender Security or Declaration, JV Agreement (or letter of intent to form JV), authorization to sign, technical proposal, and any other documents in the TDS (see Tender Document).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: NCA Registration; tax compliance; provide evidence of eligibility/ownership as required (foreign-content rules apply).
• Briefing/site visit: may be required or optional as per the TDS; participate if scheduled; minutes and amendments will be issued as addenda (not via meeting minutes).
