Overview

Establishment of a panel of service providers to supply and deliver staff uniform and PPE on an annual bulk basis and as and when required for the duration of three (3) years. Bidders should be experienced suppliers of staff uniforms and PPE capable of bulk municipal delivery, preferably with Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and in alignment with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) 2022.

Requirements

• Mandatory clarification meeting attendance (11:00, 5 August 2026; failure to attend disqualifies).
• Bid documents available for a non-refundable fee of R600 (cash, debit, or EFT arrangements).
• Bids must be sealed, marked with the Bid No. 02/26/27, and deposited in the tender box by 12:00 on 21 August 2026; bids opened publicly.
• Bids must be submitted by bidders registered on the Central Supply Database (CSD).
• Evaluation comprises three stages: Mandatory Returnable Schedule and Functionality; samples evaluated by a panel; Price and Specific Goals.
• Bid validity: 120 days.
• Specific goal preferences apply under PPPFA 2022 (e.g., local enterprise points, ownership/sector criteria).

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from Mandeni Municipality Civic Centre, 2 Kingfisher Road. Fee: R600 (payable in cash, debit, or EFT—request bank details if EFT) (see Advert Panel for Supply of PPE.pdf).
• Attend the compulsory clarification meeting: 5 August 2026 at 11:00, Municipal Council Chambers, then site briefing.
• Prepare and submit a sealed Bid Document in the marked envelope: “BID NO.: 02/26/27 …” to the Tender Box, Civic Centre, 2 Kingfisher Road, Mandeni, by 12:00 on 21 August 2026 (bids opened publicly).
