Overview

Procurement of Evening Staff and Ad-Hoc Transportation Services for the Market Theatre Foundation (MTF). The Market Theatre Foundation seeks a service provider to transport up to 25 evening staff nightly within Johannesburg and surrounding areas, plus ad-hoc airport and event-related trips, for a period of up to three years (MTF 12/2026-2027). Open-tender process with evaluation including price and BBBEE.

Requirements

• Vehicles: reliable, well maintained; provide make/model, kilometers; evidence of ongoing maintenance program; short-term insurance; roadworthy certificate; public liability insurance.
• Drivers: PDP (professional driver permit); written references; CV and ID submitted; sober at all times.
• Documentation: proof of maintenance program; vehicle photos; COIDA certificate; tax clearance/Pin; CSD registration; BBBEE status verification (SBDs 1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9, etc.).
• Compliance and governance: no collusive practices; confidentiality; proper ownership and disclosure as per RFP forms; compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
• Pricing and contract: firm, VAT-inclusive pricing; pricing valid for 120 days; rates per km for additional trips; SLA to be signed; 30-day payment terms; no contract price adjustments for cost of labor; escalation for fuel to be submitted in writing for MTF approval.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price/BBBEE split; functionality threshold; references and prior experience in transportation; demonstration of capabilities (photos, vehicle count, drivers).
