Overview

Procurement of an Events Management Agency to support South African Tourism’s Australasia hub (Australia and New Zealand) with integrated marketing, communications, trade, media, and experiential activations under a 36-month contract. Bidders should be Australia-based (or with approved local partners as defined in the RFP) and able to deliver strategy, creative, digital, PR, trade management, brand activations, media buying, analytics, and MICE/airline engagement. Requirements

• Administrative/compliance: complete and sign all required forms (SBD 1, SBD 4), provide tax status confirmation, and other annexures; include VAT and currency details per contract country; provide proof of AU base address if required.
• Eligibility: Australia-based agency or with approved local partners; ability to operate as SA Tourism’s Austalia hub representative with local presence.
• Scope fit: must cover strategy, creative localization, digital and social, PR/digital, trade relations, MICE servicing, airline engagement, stakeholder relations, brand activations, media planning/buying, and analytics/measurement.
• Contract terms: 36-month service level agreement with periodic performance evaluation; adherence to PFMA/PPF BBBEE frameworks; IP created during the contract owned by SAT.
• Pricing: quotes inclusive of applicable taxes; pricing in the contract currency; pricing schedule to show both event threshold value and management fee (where applicable).
• Compliance: anti-corruption/conflict-of-interest provisions; confidentiality; audit rights; downscaling notice (if SA Tourism reduces scope).
