EXPANSION OF A PANEL FOR CATERING SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARSClosed

Overview

Expansion of a panel of catering service providers for a period of three years. The Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism invites caterers to apply for inclusion on the panel to supply catering services for departmental events and functions (RFQ EDT 003-26).

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with active status by the closing date.
• If bidding as a Joint Venture/Consortium, each party must be tax compliant and provide WCBD 4.
• Submit the compulsory returnable documents: WCBD 1, WCBD 4, WCBD 6.1, and Annexure A.
• Provide a BBBEE status (certificate or sworn affidavit) and complete WCBD 6.1; if subcontracting, disclose in WCBD 6.1 section.
• Adhere to GCC and any SCC; a written contract (WCBD7) will be required if awarded.
• Health, safety and food standards: include municipal health certificate where applicable and SABS approval where required; health, safety and dietary labelling must be observed.
• Annexure A captures capacity, dietary requirements, and prior catering experience.

• Submission deadline: 03 July 2026 at 11:00.
• Documents to submit (from attached RFQ): WCBD 1, WCBD 4, WCBD 6.1, Annexure A; where applicable, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Registrations: provide CSD details; if a TCS PIN is not available, provide a CSD number (and tax compliance where relevant).
