Overview

Procurement of consulting engineering services for the routine ad-hoc maintenance of R334 Section 3 (Great Fish River to Mpeko). Open-tender by SANRAL; suitable for civil/road engineers with experience in pavement, maintenance planning, and project management. Applicants must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) by closing, comply with SARS tax requirements (PIN or Tax Compliance Status), and provide B-BBEE documentation. Joint ventures are allowed, with one partner being a Targeted Enterprise. The program runs from design/construction documentation to Aug 2027, with 7 months of supervision starting Feb 2028. Requirements

• Register on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) by closing date.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN or Tax Compliance Status; separate TCS for each JV partner; if no TCS, provide CSD Number.
• B-BBEE: submit valid verification certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Joint Ventures: allowed if one partner is a Targeted Enterprise; partner’s contributions to sub-contracting targets clarified.
• Mandatory briefing attendance; signatures on attendance list; no more than one rep per tenderer.
• Returnable documents: complete listed forms (A/B) and pricing schedules; provide electronic (Word/Excel) on flash drive plus printed Form of Offer and Summary of Pricing.
• Key personnel required (e.g., Project Leader; Pavement and Materials Engineer) and related forms.

• Compulsory briefing: 17 September 2026 at 11:00 via MS Teams; late arrivals not allowed; one representative per tenderer. Briefing link provided in tender docs.
