Leasing of Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager Sidings/Facilities, Siding Number 765198 (Rietkuil) for ten years. This RFP invites bids from juristic entities to lease the siding, with TRIM managing rail infrastructure. Suitable bidders include those with integrated logistics planning, warehousing, industrial engineering and rail logistics experience; they must demonstrate financial capacity, environmental/health and safety compliance, and B-BBEE readiness. Requirements

• Experience and qualifications: demonstrated logistics/rail sector capability; complete Annexure Q (Company Experience Summary) and Annexure R for individual members; provide reference letters.

• Financial capacity: proof of funding (debt/equity), bank confirmations, parent/holding company backing if applicable; last three years’ financials or equivalent; management accounts if needed; independent due diligence readiness.

• Compliance and risk: environmental approvals (including Water Use License where relevant), Environmental Plan (Annexure L), BCM Plan (Annexure O), Health & Safety Plan (Annexure P); risk management and organisational readiness (Annexures M,N; Section 4.6).

• Ownership/ governance: CIPC disclosures, share registers, JV/consortium agreements if applicable; tax compliance status (SARS PIN or TCS/CSD).

• Specific goals: B-BBEE, job creation, local enterprise participation (Annexure J).
