Overview

Leasing of the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager Sidings/Facilities, Siding Number 765384 (Krugersdorp) for a period of ten (10) years. Open to juristic persons (JV/Consortium allowed) with proven capabilities in integrated logistics planning/operations, warehousing, industrial engineering and rail/rail-facing infrastructure development. Site is in Gauteng, Krugersdorp; bidders must be prepared to negotiate a lease with TRIM and invest in the siding as specified.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in integrated logistics planning/operations; provide Annexure Q (Company Experience Summary) and CVs for key individuals; include at least one reference letter.
• Sufficient financial capacity: provide proof of funding (debt/equity), bank confirmations, and audited financials for last three years; for JVs/consortia, each party must meet requirements.
• Compliance: Tax Compliance Status (PIN via SARS, or CSD number); valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Environmental/Health & Safety: obtain all environmental licences/permits; Water Use Licence if needed; Environmental/ BCM/Health & Safety plans (Annexures L, O, P) prior to operations.
• Lease-specific commitments: submit Annexure K Detailed Investment Plan and Annexure I Rental Offer; end-of-lease asset condition assessments; adherence to TRIM policies, slot allocations, and revenue model (rent + turnover where possible).
• Governance: no collusion, confidentiality compliance, and ability to undergo TRIM due diligence; provide directors’/owners’ details and supporting legal documents (CVs, disclosures, etc.).
