Overview

Leasing of the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager Sidings/Facilities Siding 861731 (Pyramid South) for a period of ten years. Bidders should be experienced in integrated logistics planning and operations, warehousing, industrial engineering and end-to-end supply chains, with the ability to fund and deliver required investments, and to meet environmental, health & safety, security and B-BBEE requirements identified in Annexures (e.g., Annexure J; 4.10).

Requirements

• Demonstrate relevant logistics experience and provide Annexure Q (Company Experience Summary) and Annexure R (Individual Experience Summary) with verifiable references.
• Financial capacity: proof of funding (debt/equity), bank letters, audited financial statements (last 3 years if applicable), and, for consortia, parent/guarantee support.
• Tax and compliance: SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD registration; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; compliance for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Environmental, safety and governance: environmental approvals (Annexure L), Water Use Licenses where needed, BCM Plan (Annexure O), Health & Safety Checklist (Annexure P).
• Operational readiness: Lease Agreement terms (TRIM Lease Agreement), investment plan (Annexure K), security plan and SERP (4.7), risk management (Annexures M/N), and project schedule (4.6).
• Specific goals: B-BBEE level, job creation, Black Women Ownership, Local Enterprise Participation (Annexure J).
• End‑of‑lease conditions and maintenance responsibilities (4.8) and price framework (Annexure I).
