Leasing of the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager Sidings/Facilities, Siding Number Worcester 140333, for a period of ten (10) years. Bidders should be juristic entities with proven experience in integrated logistics planning/operations, warehousing, industrial engineering and end-to-end supply chains, plus the ability to invest (funding plan and investment commitments) and meet environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Expertise and track record in integrated logistics planning and operations; provide Annexure Q, CVs, and reference letters.
• Demonstrated financial capacity: proof of funding (debt/equity), letters confirming commitments, and, if applicable, parent company guarantees; annual financial statements for existing entities.
• Compliance: Tax Compliance Status (SARS PIN or CSD number), SANAS BBBEE verification or sworn affidavit; JV/consortium arrangements if applicable.
• Environmental, health and safety: environmental approvals/permits, Water Use License where needed, Environmental Plan (Annexure L), BCM and Health & Safety plans (Annexures O/P).
• Lease readiness and investment: complete Annexure K (Detailed Investment Plan); end-of-lease asset condition checks; maintenance responsibilities; pricing/turnover rental arrangements.
• Specific goals: adhere to B-BBEE, job creation, Black Women Ownership, and Local Enterprise Participation (Annexure J).
