Leasing of the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager Sidings/Facilities Siding 801682 (Marikana B) for a period of ten years. Bidders should have proven experience in integrated logistics planning and operations (warehousing, rail infrastructure, cargo handling), strong financial capacity (funding proof, audited statements), and compliance with tax, B-BBEE, environmental and safety requirements to negotiate a Lease Agreement with TRIM.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in integrated logistics planning and operations; provide Annexure Q and CVs for lead individuals; include at least one client reference.
• Sufficient financial capacity: proof of funding (debt/equity), bank confirmation, audited statements for the last three years (or equivalent); if relying on a parent company, provide consent and support letters.
• Tax and compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD registration; if joint ventures, separate TCS/CSD for each party.
• B-BBEE: valid SANAS certificate or sworn affidavit; meet specific goals (B-BBEE level, local enterprise participation, job creation, Black Women ownership).
• Environmental and health/safety: obtain required environmental licenses, Water Use Licences if needed, BCM and Health & Safety plans per Annexures L, O, P.
• Lease and operations: readiness to sign the TRIM Lease Agreement; operate on an “as is” basis with adherence to TRIM slot allocations and potential turnover-based rent.
• Investment plan: complete Annexure K; distinguish immovable and movable investments; acknowledge end-of-lease condition assessments.
