Overview

Provision of long-distance transport services from Bronkhorspruit to Kendal Power Station for a period of 5 years. Bidders should be transport service providers with fleet capacity to move Eskom employees, comply with Eskom procurement rules, and meet health and safety requirements (OHS, COID, life-saving rules). Target bidders include companies with suitable 14-seat minibuses, established driver/asset management, and the ability to operate nationally for the contract duration.

Requirements

• CIDB registration (minimum level) and compliance with Eskom General Conditions of Purchase and related tender documents.
• Legal and safety compliance: OHS Act, COID, Hazardous Work by Children controls, life-saving rules, substance abuse policy, and risk assessment (Long Distance Baseline Risk Assessment).
• Operational capability: fleet suitable for Bronkhorstspruit–Kendal routes (e.g., 14-seater combis per schedule) and staffing with a full-time contractor Health and Safety officer; clear roles/responsibilities and contractor/site supervision.
• Documentation and governance: Quality Plan/ITP, Safe Work Procedures, contractor organogram, and required bid annexures (SBD forms, CPA local content declarations, NDA, integrity declarations).
• Tender process requirements: electronic submission via Eskom e-tendering; mandatory clarification meeting details; adherence to local content and procurement rules.

How to Apply

• Submissions must be made electronically via the Eskom E-Tendering site by the closing date (20 October 2026). Clarification meeting is compulsory: 08 October 2026, 10:00, Kendal Power Station Horticulture Boardroom; bring ID and wear correct PPE for site visit.
• Obtain bid documents from the Eskom e-tendering portal (Invitation to Tender 240-114238630 Rev 28; attachments include Authorisation Form, Acknowledgement, Tenderer’s particulars, Integrity Declaration, CPA Annexures, SBD forms, Tax questionnaires, NDA).
• Prepare and submit required documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2, Annexures A–I, CPA declarations, NDA, QCP/ITP templates, and pricing data (Part C1–C3 as applicable).
