Overview

Procurement of Arnot Kendal 400 kV T227 Specialized Rock Engineering Assessment of Undermined Land. The NTCSA on Eskom’s behalf invites tenders from engineering consultancies with rock/geotechnical engineering expertise, ISO 9001-compliant QMS, and capability to assess undermined land for a 6-month assignment around the Arnot-Kendal corridor (scope and contract data in related NEC PSC3 documents).

Requirements

• Experience in rock engineering assessments of undermined land for high-voltage grid projects; relevant professional registration (construction/engineering discipline).
• Quality management: develop/implement a QMS based on ISO 9001; provide a Contract Quality Plan, manage Hold Points, nonconformities, and quality audits (per Supplier Quality Management Specification).
• Documentation: complete and submit Returnables at tender close (Basic Compliance, Authorisation Form, Acknowledgement, Tenderer’s particulars, Integrity Declaration, Local Content CPA where applicable, and SBD/Local Content annexures). Some returnables are disqualifiable if not fully completed (see Annexures A–F in the ITT).
• NDA and declarations: sign and submit NTCSA NDA Vendors; Supplier Declaration of Interest; Supplier Integrity Pact where applicable.
• Local content/B-BBEE: provide evidence as required under the Local Content Annexures; comply with PPPFA and CIDB guidance.
• Safety and compliance: adhere to Eskom SHE policies and site risk/CH/COID requirements described in the SHE specification and related tender materials.
• Compliance with tender process: submit electronically via NTCSA e-tendering site by the stated closing date; use the prescribed bid formats (PDF price list, Excel copy on request). Clarifications via tender bulletin.
