FOR THE PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES IN KZN COASTAL AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR TRANSNET PROPERTY FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS

Overview

Provision of Cleaning Services in the KZN coastal and surrounding areas for Transnet Property for a period of 36 months. Bidders should have commercial cleaning/facilities management capability for large office/deployed sites, with required compliance credentials (tax clearance, SARS PIN, CSD registration, and B-BBEE status). The contract encompasses cleaning services across Transnet Property assets in Kwa-Zulu Natal, including offices, ablutions, common areas, windows and exterior perimeters, with standard and special services (e.g., high-rise exterior windows, carpet cleaning, upholstery).

Requirements

• Experience and key personnel: CVs showing cleaning management experience on commercial contracts; roles such as Operations Manager.
• Compliance: Tax compliance (SARS PIN/CSD), B-BBEE verification or sworn affidavit; registration on CSD where applicable.
• Scope and quality: Supply of all cleaning staff and equipment; use of SABS-approved chemicals with MSDS; adherence to the Scope of Work (Annexure A) and Schedule of Requirements (Annexure G); provide consumables and equipment as listed; ensure safety, visibility of cleaners, and proper on-site management.
• Contractual and governance: Adherence to the Master Agreement (Annexure C); penalties, price adjustments, and service levels; integrity and confidentiality obligations (Integrity Pact – Annexure E; NDA – Annexure F).
