Overview

The University of Fort Hare seeks the provision of exam care packs. This RFQ covers bulk supply of student care packs containing beverages, snacks, stationery and related items, with a stated pack count (68 packs). Suitable bidders are suppliers of FMCG goods, stationery and packaging who can deliver to UFH under campus procurement rules and meet B-BBEE and local ownership criteria.

Requirements

• Respond to RFQ063TM2026 by 2026-10-05 12:00; submit via email to tmasakasi@ufh.ac.za.
• Include the SBD forms and price declaration: SBD-FORMS-10.docx and RFQ-FORM-10.docx (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 8, SBD 9) and the Price Declaration Form.
• Demonstrate compliance with B-BBEE requirements and claim points for Specific Goals (51% EC ownership to earn specific goals points; total 100 points with 80 for price and 20 for goals).
• Provide tax clearance and VAT registration numbers, company registration number, and valid B-BBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Ability to supply and deliver UFH’s exam care packs per attached specification (items listed include Energade, Pringles, pens, Red Bull, Maynards, Oreos, sticky notes, exam pad, highlighters, dried fruit; 68 packs).
• Complete and sign SCM-related declarations (anti-corruption, bid determination) as part of the bid.
• Delivery capability to UFH and adherence to the procurement timeline.
