FOR THE PROVISION OF PEST CONTROL AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE (VEGETATION CONTROL) ON A ‘AS AND WHEN” REQUIRED BASIS IN NORTHERN KZN VRYHEID (VRYHEID, VRYHEID EAST & ULUNDI) AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR A PERIOD OF 60 MONTHS

Overview

The Transnet RFP seeks the provision of pest control and grounds maintenance (vegetation control) on an as-and-when basis in Northern KZN (Vryheid, Vryheid East & Ulundi) for 60 months. Bidders should have pest-control and vegetation-management capabilities, be registered Pest Control Operators, and comply with SA occupational safety, tax, and environmental standards. Proposals must be submitted via Transnet’s TDPS system and include the required documentation across multiple sites.

Requirements

• Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing.
• Pest Control Operator registration with the Department of Agriculture.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; separate TCS for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• B-BBEE status: Verification certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Demonstrated vegetation control experience; qualified personnel (Operations Manager min 200,000 m2 responsibility; supervisors with defined experience) per Annex A.
• Compliance with master agreement terms, integrity pact, and confidentiality obligations; use of SANS/SABS-approved consumables with MSDS provision.
