FOR THE PROVISION OF PEST CONTROL AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE (VEGETATION CONTROL) ON A ‘AS AND WHEN” REQUIRED BASIS IN NORTHERN KZN EMPANGENI, RICHARDS BAY AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR A PERIOD OF 60 MONTHS

Overview

The tender is for the provision of pest control and grounds maintenance (vegetation control) on an as-and-when basis in Northern KwaZulu-Natal (Empangeni, Richards Bay and surrounding areas) for a 60-month period. It targets service providers with pest-control operator certification and vegetation-management capabilities, bidding through Transnet’s TDPS e-supplier portal, with online pricing and required SBD forms.

Requirements

• Valid Pest Control Operator registration with the Department of Agriculture.
• Proof of Good Standing under COIDA from the Department of Labour.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration (with separate TCS for each party in a JV/consortium; CSD if no TCS).
• B-BBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Compliance with Transnet integrity and confidentiality provisions (Integrity Pact and NDA).
• Returnable documents: pricing schedule via TDPS; other mandatory documents listed in Annex H (e.g., COIDA, Pest Control Operator registration).
