Overview

The University of Fort Hare is procuring two iPads, Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Magic Keyboard and five monitors or equivalent. This RFQ is open to suppliers registered on UFH’s supplier database, with electronic submission and a closing date of 2026-10-27; bidders must meet UFH registration and SCM requirements.

Requirements

• Mandatory bidder qualifications and compliance per UFH SCM: UFH supplier database registration; adherence to UFH registration/SCM rules.
• Complete and submit standard bidding documents: SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points with B-BBEE), SBD 8 (Past SCM practices), SBD 9 (Independent Bid Determination) (SBD-FORMS-4.docx).
• Evaluation criteria: 80/20 price–specific goals split; 20 points for specific goals (e.g., B-BBEE status with 51% female ownership); provide B-BBEE proof (certificate or sworn affidavit).
• Price to include VAT; bid valid for the stated period; compliant with the RFQ pricing and declaration formats (RFQ-FORM-4.docx).
• Technical specification aligned to the attached device spec (two iPads Pro 11" wifi 512GB, two Apple Pencil Pro, two Apple Magic Keyboard, five 27" monitors) per IAP-Specifications-.pdf (and RFQ documents).
