Procurement of Bicinchoninic Acid (BCA) Protein Assay Kit. The NHLS/NICD invites bids (RFQ 1921754) to supply a BCA Protein Assay Kit meeting specified technical requirements, with price and specific-goals evaluation and a 90-day validity window. Requirements

• Technical specs: Primary Reagent A 500 mL; Reagent B 25 mL (4% cupric sulfate); min capacity 2,500 microplate wells or 250 tests; 96-well format; detection at 562 nm; BSA range 20–2,000 µg/mL; sensitivity to 5 µg/mL.
• Evaluation: Price 80 points; Specific Goals 20 points.
• Compliance: Tax compliance (SARS PIN/TCS, or CSD if no TCS); B-BBEE (certificate/sworn affidavit) and related proof; Protection of Personal Information.
• Returnable documents: Completed pricing schedule; SBD1; RFQ Declaration & Breach of Law; B-BBEE proof; Specific Goals documentation.
• Specific goals: Points for HDI ownership, EME/QSE status, etc. (see SBD6.1 table).
• Mandatory/Late submissions: Late tenders disqualified; 90-day validity from closing date.
