Overview

Renewal of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) subscription licenses and related Red Hat products with Premium support for a three-year term. Open to Original Software Manufacturer (OSM) or Accredited Red Hat reseller/partner, who are registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and compliant with tax requirements. Submissions are via SITA’s ERP portal; delivery is to Laboria Building, 215 Francis Baard Street, Pretoria.

Requirements

• Be an OSM or accredited Red Hat reseller/partner; provide Annex A evidence of status (OSM/partner) (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• Comply with Technical Mandatory Requirements for Red Hat licenses; complete Annex B Addendum 1 (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• Accept Government General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and the Special Conditions of Contract (SCC) (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• ISO 9001, ISO 27001, POPIA compliance, and Government MIOS interoperability requirements (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• Undergo company and personnel security screening as required (SCC; DEL/SSA) (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• Be registered on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide tax compliance (PIN/TCS) (Tax Requirements in SBDs) (RFB 3278-2026 - Standard Bidding Document.docx).
• Submit B-BBEE documentation for preference points (SBD 6.1) and comply with 80/20 preference scoring (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• Provide all mandatory returnables and price with a separate pricing schedule (SBDs; pricing schedule) (RFB 3278-2026 - Standard Bidding Document.docx; Final Price Schedule.xlsx).
• Delivery and performance metrics: Premium support with defined SLA targets, and adherence to the SCC service levels (Final Bid Spec.docx).

How to Apply

• Watch for and attend the non-mandatory briefing (MS Teams) if desired; sign attendance register (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• Ensure registration as a Supplier on the National Treasury’s CSD (Stage 1 requirement) (Final Bid Spec.docx).
• Prepare and submit via the SITA ERP Oracle portal; no hard copies or email submissions accepted (Bid Instructions in RFB 3278-2026 docs; Final Bid Spec).
